I've considered in the past making scenarios where the locations from the location deck are not played randomly. Instead, you choose any legal one to play. If you do the ship-interior style system, i'd suggest you also handle locations that way. Means no Access Space type locations without some sort of time restriction.

That sounds like a great idea! I'll see how that goes.

Cool, I'll take a look. Luckly I have read the Walking Dead comics, so this should be easy to intergrate.
EDIT: Man, those are great pictures, I'm glad you linked them.
Thanks!

both those ideas are prime! i had not looked at Halo ccg yet, pretty much sounds the same to me, oh yea, funny this, is it no surprise that Doom 3 has the exact premise as ED, AOD, & Demon Knight? (Relic, demons vs. humans), just with some cool stuff like teleportation & BFG's? just a thought, being as these all sound REALLY close to one another, it looks like one compilation of rules & some nice cards could make for either one large 'Dead-Pool CCG' set or several sub D-P sets fashioned after their respective movies/ sources?
morti, sweet sweet concept on interior loc's for terminator CCG, which they should have included in the first place, that way perhaps both kinds of loc's can be used if desired? (crossovers or weird deck matchups) allowing for any kind of location card to be utilized in a given game...
EDIT: man, i had no idea they were making something out of that comic book! it looks really well done, those zombies ain't fakin it, heh!

Sorry for my hiatus... but I'm back.
I'm pretty sure you can just play the Terminator Locations as AVP locations when crossing over with this Zombie game, plus AVP, since I have decided to use the AVP system (with the exception of the Terminator-Style Room Locations, so there really is no problem with Crossovers.
I'm about half done with the locations for my test set, just need to make some more Mall and Farmhouse Locations, and then add images to the cards.

I'm going to put this project on hold for awhile, with school starting and all. I'll update on my progress momentarily.

yea, before i continue more work on Zombie CCG, i need to write out a complete rules suppliment, & finish updating the templates with a red face.
on another note, i play many different ccg's (including magic) & my most recent project has been making high quality proxies for my own personal use, especially foils, once i perfect my technique, i plan to make high quality foil AvP cards to play with.

Ah, neat, you'll have to post some pics. You using actual cardstock?

Thought I'd take a stab at a Left 4 Dead zombie.

great cards! i really like the charger, but, the boomer is, in my opinion, overpowered.
in the game, boomers never attack (except with bile), & they should be really easy to kill (hence, the term "walking bomb"), a single shot at long range will pop these suckers. the main purpose of boomers is to keep the survivors off balance, & to initiate mob attacks, so in my OPINION, i think they should be in more of a support role, & definitely without the power +4 damage.
i would probably make it a SP-2 PW-3 Mob-4 w/ resistance +2, your description of the vomit ability is perfect.
& @ Axlotl, yes! i will be using real cardstock (ATM, using foil magic cards, but soon i will be using a pen-eraser to clear AvP cards of ink, to have the same backing). out of all the cardgames i play, Battlegrounds is the only one without foils or alternate versions/ images. when i am done i plan to have a set of mains foiled, possibly if i can get my hands on more, i might do entire foil decks. My biggest reason (aside from aesthetics) for doing this is to preserve my real cards, which are probably never to be printed again, that way if a proxy gets fragged i ain't crying...
ATM i only have MTG cards made, which i could post pics of, AvP foils are on the way shortly... to help speed this up, does anyone have high quality scans (300dpi) of the AvP premiere set? the current scans are not high quality & i want a crystal clear card as a finished product. thanks!
EDIT: OOOPS!!! i thought the boomer had +4 resistance, not -4, my eyes aint that great, my bad...

I'd love to see the MTG cards. I am unaware of any higher-res scans, unfortunately.

So you print these yourself? They're pretty cool. I'd love to grab some quality Atmosphere proxies from you.

thanks! yes i print them myself at home, it takes a bit of work but i think they turn out really great, the glossy finish looks really cool with foils (cooler than real foils, in my opinion, since the card captures more light). the cards are a little thicker (0.05 mm, i think) & a little more rigid, & they should be played with sleeves (highly recommended), but they are completely intact & can be played without them. nevertheless, they should be treated just like normal foils (foils scratch easily, 'heavy' shuffling will cause wear & tear even in sleeves from bending), the plus side is they tend not to curl as much as normal foils when they are stacked together.
and yes, i could easily make some foil proxies of atmosphere, like i said earlier, i am just looking for high quality scans, since i fear anything less than 300dpi makes the card look a little pixelated around the edges when you look at it up close.
