Hello. First time making a post on a forum in...well longer than I wish to admit. I've been interested in this game for years, and I finally found someone who is willing to teach me how to play. I also have been poking around the boards here for a while, and figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm currently updating and making the LackeyCCG plugin more readily available! I downloaded the files that are in the other posts, and have been getting it ready for release. There is one thing that doesn't seem right with the documentation, and I wanted to get the feedback from you guys since you are the hivemind behind everything that I'm doing. The lists for the Starter Deck contents isn't correct. I thought the decks were 40 cards with 10 random cards in addition, but the list I found has WAY more cards than that. I want to put the starter decks into Lackey as a, well, start for new people. Is there a different list than what was in the megathread? I have attached the file I'm working with. Even with dropping the duplicate locations, and not including a Hived Main Corridor in each deck, they are all over 40 cards.
On the topic of Lackey, I'm planning on fleshing out the text database so it's easier to do searches on, as well as make it so that players can read the text on cards with some of the lower resolution scans. I'm working towards a complete AvP collection with both sets of AvP, and the Terminator set, and all promos, then rescanning them using my 4k card scanner, and updating the plugin. With my new scans, I'll also be sending them to cardgamegeek.com so they can be incorporated into their card database for collection tracking, as well as deck list posting and preservation.
The last thing I have a question about are the fan expansions. Are they actively played? Would you guys like to see them incorporated into Lackey? If so, I'll just need the usual information of the card images, and a text file (or Excel) of the card text, and I can incorporate them into an update.
I'm going to make sure that the Lackey plugin has a pointer back here in the credits.txt file for having the base plugin done, and the hard work that was done before I picked it up.
I would also like to mention that I usually attend GenCon in Indianapolis, IN every year, and I'm already meeting with 1 AvP player, and it would be cool to meet up with others to have some nice games. Again, I'm still learning the game, but I'm always up for playing, even if I get decimated.
Thank you for your time, and I apologize for the wall of text, but there was a lot of information I wanted to share with everyone.

I don't remember for sure, but I think the starters were a bit more than 40 cards (ignoring the randoms) because starting cards don't count towards your deck size.
Be warned, 3 of the 5 Terminator promos are EXTREMELY rare. I've seen them on eBay a handful of times in 10 years.
I use my custom cards, so do a few others. Not sure how widespread they are.
I need to hit up Gencon again, its been years. Unfortunately I'm stuck deep in the mess that is the east coast now.
EDIT: I just realized I have my starter deck boxes displayed on the wall behind me. I can confirm the physical product states that it includes 60 cards. I don't remember how each deck broke down, but a Marine deck would be 40 cards + 2 starting location + 4 Garrison Pack + 4 Marines for 50 cards, plus the 10 random for 60, so maybe they upped the size of the Alien/Predator precon decks to match for printing reasons? (You'd expect 56 and 55 cards respectively.)

Thank you for your reply.
What are the rare promos? I have "Time and Fate", and "Target Terminated". I'm having all kinds of problems with acquiring this game.
The decks I built from the list I posted was:
Alien: 41 cards + 6 starter = 47 cards Predator: 43 cards + 5 starter = 48 cards Marines: 40 cards + 6 starter = 46 cards
If the cost wasn't sky high, I'd just buy one of each and open a sealed deck to check the contents.
The reason I asked about the use of the custom cards is because I've added custom cards to a few of my other plugins, and people never use them. I want to get this plugin up and running quickly, but not rushed. I'm going to do a release just to get it out there, then an update that will fill in the databases for text searching. I may need to ping you for card text of one of the custom sets as I don't remember seeing it right off hand. It might have been the Resurrection set or something else. I'll dig back into it.
I can't wait to play a physical game of AvP. The first time since the game was released and being taught by someone who was a high level player. Thanks to places like MakePlayingCards.com, I don't have to go broke looking for multiples of Cocooned Victim or Hicks, or any of the promos. I'm doing my due diligence and making my sets as well, even though the creator doesn't get a share of any of what I'm going to have to spend on it.

Oh, damn, those are two of the rare ones. Where'd you get them?
I'll Be Back isn't too hard to get, I've got a few. The Beretta or whatever is rarer, but still shows up a bit more than the rest.

I've located the list for all 3 Starter Decks on the archived Alienspredator CCG website: Click here to see the Official Starter Decks list of cardsAnd yes Axlotl is correct each starter deck basically is 50 preset (Fixed) cards with some cards that are used as starting cards and then 10 random cards that are always 8 Uncommons and 2 Rares. 60 cards altogether per Starter Deck. At the time because Dark Siege scenarios hasn't been made and released yet and Contact scenario was the default scenario, play decks had to be at a minimum of 40 cards. However the starting cards setup do not count towards the play deck's. I wonder if LackeyCCG will eventually have AI support so we can play and practice games against a computer controlled opponent. I would love to be able to play a digital AvP CCG with a computer controlled deck. But I guess things can get really complicated to get all of the timings right and as well as all of the Erratas as many cards in Premiere had improper wording.

Matter of fact, I just copied and pasted the Starter Deck contents below:

Matter of fact, I just copied and pasted the Starter Deck contents below: This is the list that I attached in my initial post. The duplicate locations which end up as dead cards in your hand, and each deck having a Hived Main Corridor is what was throwing me off.
Also, Lackey hasn't seen an update in over 10 years, and the person who created it doesn't have any intentions of opening Pandora's Box to tinker with the code. Soo many people want soo much stuff with it, that it would be impossible to please everyone, and could potentially break quite a few things if he tries to implement some of the stuff people want specific to their game. Lackey is a Table Simulator. It's as if you were sitting at an actual table. That's why there is very little in the way of scripting and automation, because sitting with your buddies at the table, you don't have anything automated. I don't think that'll change in the near future.
Axlotl, I was gifted those promos with a rather large lot of Terminator. It's about 80% of a set. I've located the rest of the promos except the Baretta. That one will be my white whale.

Yeah, I was running an eBay watch list for years before I managed to snag a Beretta card that wasn't triple digit cost. I'll Be Back was actually my first Terminator card, as I bought the magazine it came with off the shelf. I just ended up making customs for the other promos.
