Question: What is the duration on Alien Stealth?
Answer: Most events have a duration of a Round unless otherwise mentioned. However, it does not make sense in this case for it to be either a permenant effect or to last only 1 round. Therefore we can assume that Alien Stealth, and other events such as Recon, Ghost Image, etc last until the end of the current TURN. (not round) 9/6/99 9:18:43 AM

Answer: Events are resolved as played. Hence, as soon as the Dwindling Options is played, it must be resolved. (you are right, in other words!) 3/12/98
Question: If a Predator started playing events, let's say three events in a row. Could I as a marine stop him on his second card and play Dwindling options, since it goes in RMPA order.
Answer: This is what the somewhat convoluted paragraph on p. 21 is meant to explain. Basically, a player can only play one event at a time. The Predator player must play one event, then wait for you to react. If you do not react, the Predator may play his second event without penalty. If you STILL don't react, he may play another, etc. If the Predator breaches etiquette by slapping down 3 cards at once, you may say, Nay, my overzealous Predator friend! and force him to take back the second 2 cards. You could then react to the first card, with the knowledge of what he has in his hand. Basically, if the Predator allows you to react in between, and you don't, then he is in the right. If he does NOT allow you to react, he is in the wrong. 3/19/98

Have Me Some Fun:
Question: Have me some fun Can anybody explain the use of this card?
Answer: It says: use combat pool to make a hit cause damage (ignoring armor and resistance) of: 1@ - 1 damage; 3@ - 2 damage; 6@ - 3 damage; or 10@ - 4 damage. So, if your opponent has a lot of resistance/armor and you have a not-terribly good weapon, if you hit, you can pay 10 pool, and ignore all the normal damage resolution method, and cause 4 net damage (which ignores armor and resistance). That tends to really mess up an opponent. 1/22/98

Answer: Characters can not possess diametrically opposed characteristics. Shadowblade would lose his 'Lucky' resource for the duration of the event. Answer: Yes, it's legal. 4/29/98
Question: Will Its Just A Cat Protect my Predator from an Alien Wave?
Answer: Yes, We ended up deciding that one IJtC would protect against another player's actions (plural). Also the card says Any attacks (again plural) on it do not hit. We finally decided that the card distinctly implies defense against multiple attacks. 4/29/98
Question: I know from previous questions that altering the target of my combat using the "Disarmament" card will prevent my Pred target from using a YWSoT card i.e. I'm targeting the item -- not the character -- therefore the restrictions on YWSoT are not met).
Answer: Exactly! 3/29/99
Question: How does IJTC work with "Ready For Trouble"?
Answer: Well, it would go like this. Marines play Ready for Trouble on a hidden token. The Predator immediately plays 'Its Just the Cat' and all declared attacks also miss. In this case no attacks were declared before IJTC was played. 3/29/99
Question: With the same 2-alien scenario above, during the beginning of the combat phase before I declare attacks, I play RFT. Pred opponent plays IJTC, and declares that the "no attacks on it will hit" will work for any hits that occur this combat round.
Answer: No, events are resolved as they are played. Thus IJTC would cause all previously declared attacks to miss. Since no attacks were declared in advance, the Predator player is in trouble and would require a second IJTC. 3/30/99

Question: What is the duration on Alien Stealth?
