Just played my first game of this with my wife using the Terminator starter decks and it was amazing. Very cinematic. Started off with a Police station in both HUDs on turn 3, so the Terminator came over and played Nightmares on Kyle, rotating him and then followed up with Battle Fatigue, making sure he didn't ready. Within 2 turns Reese was blown away while the other Resistance ran for their lives. In the meantime the Tech Noir arrives, but I (playing the resistance), opt to go to the alley first to bring a reporter into play, because I'm too scared to face the terminator on my own. My wife instead goes to Tech Noir and finds Sarah Connor there herself. I move to the tech noir to try and keep the Terminator from killing her, but instead my wife gives her a gun and they start unloading on the remaining Resistance characters. Pawn III goes down. Its just Rensy left with Body armor, a shotgun and man-piercer rounds. My one chance is to damage the terminator enough that Sarah realizes he's a robot and switches sides. I play anticipation in order to attack before combat and land a lucky hit, increasing the damage with an event card and bringing the Terminators infiltration to 0. Sarah sees what he really is and starts firing on him, on my side now. The Terminator tries to kill Rensy to end the game but he adds Resistance and the group manages to stagger, wounded, to the police station. I play another anticipation and Rensy blasts the terminator with the shotgun again, revealing his metal face. The police station now sees that hes an evil robot and Sarah and the police station itself unload on the Terminator as the Terminator fires on Rensly. The reporter, brought in many turns ago, cowers in the corner. Together, both hits connect and the Terminator goes down! But as the dust settles, Sarah looks back and sees that her savior, Rensy, was hit by the Terminator as well, sacrificing his life to save hers. The game ends with neither of us having any main characters in play, and Sarah Connor standing in the police station amongst the bodies, having landed the killing blow on the Terminator with the gun he himself had given her earlier in the game. It was a poetic, exciting, dramatic ending, and it was an absolute blast.
