Hello, next funny question. Can I play royal jelly on chest burster and then remove alien queen from play and transform chest burster into young queen?
Kind of related ruling:
Question: If the Breeding Chambers are destroyed through some means, is there any way that the Alien Queen can produce another Breeding Chambers?
Answer: Currently, no (though you could kill off the queen, create a young queen and mature her into the alien queen to do so). 3/13/98

You can only create a 'Young Queen' if your current queen is dead. The Location your 'Young Queen' matures in becomes the new 'Breeding Chamber'. If you play 'Royal Jelly' on a 'Chest Burster' card you have the option to turn it into a 'Royal Guard' if you have the card in your hand. Otherwise, it does nothing.

Hello, next funny question. Can I play royal jelly on chest burster and then remove alien queen from play and transform chest burster into young queen? Kind of related ruling: Question: If the Breeding Chambers are destroyed through some means, is there any way that the Alien Queen can produce another Breeding Chambers? Answer: Currently, no (though you could kill off the queen, create a young queen and mature her into the alien queen to do so). 3/13/98 For the standard official rules your current Alien Queen in play would have to be dead first before you can create a new Queen and bring the Young Queen in play. Only the Royal Guard can be legally brought into play if your current Queen in play is still alive. I suppose that if you have a Young Queen or Warrior Queen in play, then theoretically, you could deliberately get her killed first by moving into a location with Hull Breach, maybe move her into a Submerged location and leave her there or walk into locations with Sentry Guns. And then bring in a new queen using Royal Jelly on a Chest burster token/card while you have a Young Queen card in your hand. The official rulings requires you to have both of those cards in your hand and your current Queen dead first before you can bring in a new Queen. Ugh! Never liked those resteictions and requirements to bring a new Queen into play I'll tell you that much, but that's why it's very important to keep your current Queen alive as long as possible. However, you can never move the regular Alien Queen though. As for the second situation. Most cases Breeding chambers will remain in play and won't be "destroyed" unless it was from a Heat Exchanger explosion or the Self Destruct Sequence event card. If your Breeding chamber had become damaged then only the Aliens Hive movement capability no longer works. But you can still capture hosts and continuously spawn and generate new Alien tokens and bring more Aliens into play even if yoir Breeding Chamber became Damaged and gains the Damaged Resource such as from Structural Damage event card or because of Demolition Charge'seffect.
