Hi. Where can I find all the ruling regarding Outcast Predator? Since they don’t use Honor I found it difficult to build a deck with them.
By default in the original official rules, Outcast predator does not have the ability to win satisfying honor points.
In the Contact Scenario, the Outcast can only win by killing all opponent(s) main characters in play.
However, in the Countdown and Planetfall Scenarios, you could use the Outcast and win by satisfying secondary victory conditions such as by capturing and evacuating a Newborn -OR- by capturing and evacuating 5 Medics, Physicians and Lab Workers:
Actually to build a deck for Outcast is much easier because he can only win through combat thus all you need are combat focused and oriented cards such as Plasma Casters, Camousuit, Hunting Kit or Ceremonial Armor, Reflexive Action, Roll With It, It's Just The Cat, Overwatch and Somebody Wakeup Hicks and any hit bonuses like Good Shot or Masterful Shot.
Trick Of the Light, Trip, Dwindling Options and combat pool gain cards like Lay Of The Land would also do.
For Predators that can win through honor you would add The Hunt instead. Otherwise build a deck around Eager Youth or Young Tusk if honor victory is your goal.
Not That Way, The Area Is Secure are especially vital and crucial if you like predator decks that focus on winning through honor.
In the long run, winning through honor is not that great nor efficient simply because Predator needs a costly amount of gear and items to survive which would greatly increase honor requirements to 30 or 40. Most solo predator decks will have at least 2 Plasma Casters and a Camousuit at the minimum.
And even after you have met your honor points quota, you are required to evacuate in your Predator Ship or Shuttle and that can be a big problem if your opponent has anticipated this by having one or few of their characters get inside your evacuation point and prevent you from leaving and winning.
Unlike how humans have access to the EEV card which provides them an alternate means of escape should the Docking Bay ever become compromised and they are unable to evacuate there to win.
At one point long time ago, Honor victory through the Display Of Skill event card via Honored Elder used to be very good and broken combo.
But that's why later on they had toned down and nerf'd Display Of Skill with a new errata so that it would no longer reduce any of the honor requirement below a Predator's printed honor. So for example, if your Honored Elder only had the melee claws, that would be 10 honor altogether because his printed honor is 8 and 2 honor for the melee claws. Since using Display of Skill would reduce 10 honor to to 5 honor left, and 5 honor would be fewer than 8 honor, Display Of Skill can't be played.
Before the errata, all it takes is massive combat pool gain of 20 and they just play 2 copies of Display Of Skill in the same turn on Honored Elder to end the game. And it was easy because Elder gains double CP each time he gains any CP amount.
