Really, it has become very quiet here for the past couple of months, I hope eventually more users would come back during the summer, but I guess they all have pretty much moved on to other more important things in their lives by now. Too busy with work, relationships maybe, other misc problems? Right now I'm gathering all the info I can find on here on how to play AvP (and Terminator) cards using the LackeyCCG Engine. Only one thing I need to know is if it can be setup to play locally via a LAN? If possible then that would be great!! Also more importantly would it be possible to play with 2 others players or more with LackeyCCG? If all the above are true then, I guess I may eventually sell back all of my current AvP and Terminator cards that I have in my possession.

I haven't been on here for ages, its still cool that people still use these boards and hopefully the site to gather information. There isn't much in the way of new things to talk about, just a few (literally) fans spread around the globe who have some interest in AP CCG, and that's about all. But I'm glad these boards can still be of use to some people, although I myself won't be around very often or updating things for precisely the things you mentioned.

I started WoW again back in October or so, so I've had much less free time. Although I am pretty much burned out by now.

I started WoW again back in October or so, so I've had much less free time. Although I am pretty much burned out by now. BTW any other progress for the Predators set or any of the Terminator sets you had planned? Looks like LAN play with LackeyCCG is possible after all when I've checked their forums today. This would be great since it would make things convenient for practice. Check here for more information: www.lackeyccg.com/forum/index.php?topic=1123.msg8328#msg8328Now only if someone can confirm that it would work and support a game where 3 players or more can play simultaneously, since previous engines that supported AvP CCG did not have the ability to support more than 2 players per session. BTW is there a Terminator CCG plugin for LackeyCCG anywhere? because if there is then that would be great to combine it with AvP CCG Premiere+Resurrection sets for a big all out battle such as the one outlined in the Hostile Takeover Scenario. And since now we finally have the official pics for all the Terminator CCG promos I don't see why not? Also the other good thing about playing the game via Lackey engine would be because there is no need to worry about printing proxies or not having enough spare copies of any certain card(s), usually the Promo and really Rare ones in particular. And no need to worry about not having sufficient fund$$$ to bid and win those auctions on eBay which can get expensive at times, particularly for promos, and those only come around like once in a blue moon. And you never have to worry about not having enough dices, and other misc counters and things to keep track of things of various things such combat pool, research points, damage points taken, etc.,... Since I always thought that was a huge drawback to playing the game regularly with the real cards because there is so many things to keep track of sometimes and that it can takes up a lot of table space, meaning you would need a fairly large table or multiple tables

My friend and I have played on Lackey on a few occasions, but his busy schedule really puts a damper on our ability to play. If anyone wants to play on Lackey, please PM me and we can negotiate a time to play. I live in the U.S. (Midwest) so if we can work around time-zone differences then I'd love to learn from more experienced players.

I am alive!
I have posted the updated files for the AvP Plugin (it now includes Pandemic) as well as new Plugins for Terminator and AvPvT. I am working on a Halo CCG Plugin as well.
There are a few kinks that need to be worked out, such as missing cards (Promos in particular), but it should be fine for now.
I hope you enjoy!

@ Shaolin: Just in case you didn't see it in the Lackey Thread, LackeyCCG can support up to a whopping 10 Players! So, it is very possible to play games such as Hostile Takeover. However, solitaire play is only 1v1, for now.

Maybe it could do very basic functions since all the complex mechanics and rules of a card game would be too difficult to implement. Unless I am wrong about this and the current plugin you released supports what I've mentioned above?

He means you can play 2 decks against each other, you control both though. I've used this to playtest in the past.

Have scenarios been implemented in the Plugin? Also what about cards like Battle Conditions which are played first before the game actually even begins?

Lackey doesn't do anything for you other than really basic general deck manipulation, like shuffling/revealing X cards/draw x, etcetera.
All you really configure with the plugin is the images and card text, plus the amount of numbers to manually track on the side of the game field, and how many "parts" of the deck there is. You can setup an AvP plugin with a draw deck, location deck, and starting cards as separate tabs. Its entirely up to you to not cheat at deck building, and to put the right stuff in the right tab. You have to manually pull everything out of the starting tab and place it into play yourself. Its pretty much like playing in real life, you enforce the rules, scenarios, deck-building, and actions yourself.

Well I'm actually glad that there are at least 2 more active members keeping this community alive. I'm talking about roguethirteen and corpsepuke. And I'm also glad that another one of the former staff and designer of the game from Precedence had join us (Pawn III).
That's right, AvP and Terminator CCG will Never Die!! Not as long as we're around, because we won't let it ! ;D
Aliens Predator and Terminator CCG FOREVER!!

I did a 400 (Technically 399 with an unused 400th slot if a really good idea ever hit me in playtesting) card Halo set using a slight variation of the battleground rules. for fun. I assume that is what he means.
