I do have one question (since this doesn't really fit anywhere, might as well be here): Does anyone know where I can find a scan of the ad used in magazines and comic books for the Res expansion? I loved the ad and thought it was really cool, but have never been able to find it since then. It showed a Marine, Alien, and Pred all sitting around a table playing the game. Man I loved that ad. I had it as a jpeg years ago and printed it out on a really bad printer. Sadly all I have left is the really bad printout (tried scanning it and it's aweful) Oh, and Welcome ;D

Hi, my English is not so good. I'm Daniele and I live in Italy. I with my two friends, Andrea "tactics like Gorman" and Paolo "his Breeding Chamber is like a luna park for the other", are three old AVP CCG Player and Terminator CCG too. This site is wonderful

Hello, I am the "L'alba dei Morti Viventi" (Italian for the Dawn of the Dead). Actually, I am not Italian (I only know a little), but I am a big fan of the Aliens and Predator franchises, as well as Italian horror films.

hello folks, I am into AvP CCG & making custom cards. i got introduced to the game at an early age before it vanished & only had a handful of cards, i think dream cards keep it going since these companies seem to fade & fold.
they should give us the rights & let us print our own cards i say

Hello, my name is Brian. Found this site, later these forums, when my freind and I decided to get back into AVP CCG after a long hiatus. This is a great site with tons of useful info for relatively new players like myself and my friend. There also seem to be a lot of good folks here who like to help noobs like me appreciate and understand this great game.

Greeting everyone,
I've been playing the game Since it's release in what 1997? I'm located in Oregon US, and have about six other friends who meet on a regular basis to play the game. If anyone in located in the vicinity you are more than welcome to join us!
I've got a bunch of custom cards IDE like to post in the future, and a ALIEN specific game based on the battlefield system I've been working on for a few years.
Always looking to complete my premiere set too so offers welcome!
Anyway hello, and keep playing!!!

Well, this isn't exactly my first post. But it feels like my second first post. Needless to say, It's been a while since I was regularly involved. But serendipity tends to strike in odd ways. A group of my friends and I recently decided to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Babylon 5 by purchasing obscene amounts of the CCG online, and in the ensuing rush of CCG-related nostalgia, I couldn't help but pull out my old AVP and Terminator decks. Lo and behold, after just a couple of weeks of playing with them again, I get an email about this little old site.
I can't guarantee I'll be around a lot, as the entire reason I retreated from forums altogether in the first place was I've just got too many other things in my life to dedicate too much to an online community. But I've really been enjoying getting back into the game. I'm still looking for any Resurrection whatsoever if anyone's got far too much of it that they're looking to part with. And I'm finally looking at actually getting Atmosphere printed out, since artscow's new interface for photo uploads is so much easier to use.

Good to see you around Its great to hear that you got the email shortly after having your interest rekindled, I'm glad it's lined up like that. I know how you feel about the business of life! Haven't exactly been around a lot, but after hitting back on this forum a short while back and seeing how some people were still posting, I couldn't resist updating and cleaning things up, and seeing if people were still interested.

If there's one thing I still am, its interested. I was going back through all the jpegs of Atmosphere and Cityscape the other night, and one thing I noticed was that there was a lot of places where the original text was erased from a card image, and due to the image compression, the blacks didn't match, leaving it obvious where the original text had been. Some cleanup might be in order for those (especially as I'm looking at doing some printing soon), as well as replacing some of the images that came from the AVP PC games (let's face it, those look pretty bad these days).
The thought also crossed my mind, if we can't get the original template images up to snuff, then maybe new templates are in order. Aside from the characters, I was never a huge fan of the Resurrection-style card borders (especially the events - just didn't seem to fit), and the Halo cards Axlotl put together look uniformly awesome with custom-made borders (except for that one that's a picture of an action figure - that one's always bugged me).
