Hi all! I was wanting to add printed Atmosphere cards to my AvP collection, and found Axlotl's creation of the set. Having a background in print/graphic design (and worked on fan based cards for another CCG), I found his cards too low res and the style a little different to the officially printed cards. So I decided to recreate them for myself. I changed a few of the images for ones I thought fit better based on the movies and added Jungle Resource to all Outdoor locations as per Cityscape rules. I also moved the Lineage concept introduced from Hunting Grounds rules, to being a Restriction on Alien cards. I felt this kept the look of the Alien character card consistent with the layout of previous printed cards without adding a new element. With permission from Axlotl, here is a link to download an imposed PDF of Atmosphere. There are 8 cards per page, so you can print on either A4 or US Letter paper sizes. Here are links of the cards as singles for each card type: CharacterConditionEventItemLocationSupportHere is a link to a RAR with all the cards converted to images for uploading to a card printing website (e.g. makeplayingcards.com or printerstudio.com). They are 300dpi, CMYK with no ICC Profile, and 3mm bleed. Cards as imagesA few samples: Let me know of any errors I've made, and I will fix them. I'm looking at recreating Cityscape next and will post that also, if people interested.

Great job. Completely replaces my original work, and that is a very good thing. Probably as handful of cards I'd still want to change the pictures for, as the original choices (mine, or some of the few custom cards I dug out of internet archives) were weak. The AvP 2 game screenshots especially. There was another redo from another site at one point also, not sure how much was changed there vs here. Yours is better, though.
A lot of the images used appear higher resolution than the resources I had available - did you do your own screen caps, or did you have access to a good image archive?
Its also worth pointing out that while Atmosphere uses the actual real card text from the unreleased set, the real Cityscape wasn't far along in development when the game was canceled, and the set is entirely custom. Feel free to update it if you want, though.

I used all original Atmosphere images from this post - link . Took screen caps of majority of them. Found a couple on the internet. With the rest using your ones, changed them to 300dpi and played around in Photoshop a bit. If there are any you would like replaced, let me know

I placed a small (18) order of these redesigns on makeplayingcards.com. The order process was fairly painless, I used an online extractor to turn the PDF files into image files, which upload to MPC allowing you to resize appropriately. Very impressed with the quality. Card stock appears identical to Resurrection. Miss-cuts where very minor on a couple cards, like millimeter small. Single stray ink dot on 1 card, not anything bad enough to ruin it. 70 cents a card, but half of that was shipping. Bulk orders probably a bit better. Card back is a bit off color wise. I need a better card back image to use. Might try and scan one myself, not sure if my scanner is up to snuff though. Otherwise, the fronts are damn near identical in quality and style. Excuse the terrible phone pics.

Great to hear you have some printed cards.
For the other CCG I worked on, we used printerstudio.com. Both sites appear to work the same way, with makeplayingcards.com being cheaper. I don't know if that means if there will be a print quality difference or just competitive pricing.
I'm still working on revising Cityscape. AvP2 is so dark and rainy most of the time, it has taken a bit of work to get descent images. Moved onto Predator 2 and making better progress as movie is producing better images which is funny as it is 17 years older than AvP2. Hopefully have it posted before end of next month.

Yeah, AvPR was horrible to even begin to source images from. I had to sit through that junk trying to find the best shots of gadgets and characters to use when the internet failed me, but Cityscape was definitely the time to use that movie.
The quality from MPC seems to me to be virtually identical with the Rez cards, imo. They have higher quality levels available, but I just went with the default for my test run.

When you submit your order, is there a way for people to search your profile to have the same thing printed? If you uploaded Cityscape and Atmosphere could we potentially search your profile and order the same thing too?

In my particular case I never even created an account, just uploaded images and paid with paypal.

Since interest has picked up a little regarding printing cards through websites, I've now added a link to all the cards converted to images, to make it easy for anyone to print their own. This only took me about a minute to do once I set up a script in Photoshop. Here is a link to a RAR with all the cards converted to images for uploading to a card printing website (e.g. makeplayingcards.com or printerstudio.com). They are 300dpi, CMYK with no ICC Profile, and 3mm bleed. Cards as images

Wow, I'm also interested in printing cards with printing company. Could you post some more images, how do they look? Also, I noticed that when using makeplayingcards.com you have to agree that images are not copyrighted etc. Didn't that trouble you that you could lost money you paid or some company might sue you?

The images provided here are fan made art. These cards were never printed and sold to the public. A spoiler list was released of the cards, but not the artwork/images.
You wouldn't be allowed to print the premier or Resurrection sets, as they are official printed material.
That is my understanding anyway.

Noticed a minor mistake on Dark Spirit to keep consistency. Changed start of gaming text from "Honor 11" to read "11 honor". Main links at start have been updated, but here is the single PDF and the single image links for Dark Spirit. Dark Spirit PDFDark Spirit image

Just wondering, what is the best template to use on MPC, seriously thinking of printing my own cards. So many templates to use🤣😂😅
Cheers
