So I am starting to tackle the Predators and I dont feel like it has as much oomf as my redesigned Marines. I am trying to think of something creative for them like the Dog Tags that I used in the Marine cards.

Check this out... I made the border better Resources are best done this way. The earlier templates had the resources in the card effects text and that would make things more confusing. I still would rather retain the wording and terminology of the original game of Ready and Rotate instead of Tap and Untap because that is the way they always had it to make it different than other games that use that terminology and wording. Also for Ripley, her effect text can be re-adjusted to Rotate Ripley to move her to 1 location or Rotate to move Ripley to 1 location, because it's been cleared up she moves berself to a location rather than moving a location card's position.

How do you feel about "exhaust" instead of "rotate" because I think Rotate was just the poor mans version of tap. Exhaust is not only better because it makes more sense thematically, but rotate just sounds silly imo.

Have 2 versions, 1 with the original terminology, and one with whatever you prefer to use. I remember seeing a different game think it was called Universus and they have the terminology "Commit" when turning their cards horizontally.
Perhaps Tap was copyrighted by wizards so other card games can't use tap and untap terminology for their cards. Just go through a whole bunch of different card games and see what terms they use for positioning their cards horizontally and vertically.

Of all of the ones that I have seen I think the most Clever term for Tapping was in Legend of the five rings, since they are samurai they "Bow" which is amazing thematically. That is why I like exhaust (which is used in a few games) for a survivor horror type game it is perfect.
