Expand this board for Legendary Encounters and VS System?

Am I the only one that thinks that it would be great to expand this board to have designated sections for discussion of the more newer card games that involves Alien and Predator IPs?

Specifically Upper Deck Entertainment's Legendary Encounters series?

They already made and release 3 sets of those cards to the punlic:

Legendary Encounters Alien
Legendary Encounters Predator
Legendary Encounters Alien Expansion

(and along with some other misc things, like an alternate art playmat for LE: Predator)

And then not too long ago they also released 2 additional sets specifically for their "VS System 2PCG" series of card games:

VS System 2PCG: The Alien Battles
VS System 2PCG: The Predator Battles

So what do you guys think? Should we have two new sections here on the forums designated and specifically for discussion of those two separate and new card games made and released for Alien and Predator?

I even though about why not include a section to include the Prodos Games Tabletop Miniatures game:

But since that isn't a card game, but mind considering creating a designated section for discussion of it as well?

That miniatures game actually does have cards in the game, although it isn't a card game per se.

But I've been thinking that if we have new sections organized specifically for discussion of those more recent Alien and Predator card games, then that might just help increase more visitors to this site and have something newer and more recent to discuss about, and then maybe, just we can try to introduce the older Aliens Predator CCG and The Terminator CCGs that we all know and liked a lot to them and try and see if that would generate more interest in both the card game playing communities and Aliens and Predator online communities.

I have all three of those and the tabletop game but alas no one to play with so I hadn't bothered to read the rules. It would be cool to have other IP properties on here to talk about with people.

Nobody even voted. Sigh. If only somebody can get more people interested in joining our discussion from AvPGalaxy or some other really popular Alien or Predator site. Would be great if they dropped by sometime and discuss about the more recent card games from Upper Deck. I even heard rumors of another Aliens board game although only time will tell if it's for real or not. Heard it's being made by Gale Force 9 and is designed with Co-Op in mind.

I think this would be a great idea, if for no other reason than getting more folks to be aware that this community exists, which could lead to renewed interest in AVP CCG.

I only own LE: Predator, but it would also be nice to get some insight and strategy for that game. I have gotten to the choppa but I haven’t been able to defeat the Predator.

It's unlikely to ever happen. I suppose the only other way to really promote Aliens Predator CCG now would be to promote and advertise Tabletop Simulator on Steam, because someone made a custom mod for it to support Aliens Predator CCG: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=385695987

Apparently it supports everything from Premiere, Resurrection and Atmosphere, including all of the Promo cards. But no support for Terminator CCG at this time, maybe if somebody had the time and is willing to update it, so the AvPvT crossover scenarios can be played as well.


Not much use for the LackeyCCG stuff, because it seems much more complex and the fact that Lackey is updated constantly meaning the plugins made for it will also have to be constantly updated and maintained, in which, no one part of this or any other CCG community seems to have the time to do it anymore.

I suppose if somebody wanted to make a dedicated Youtube channel for Aliens Predator CCG and LackeyCCG and Tabletop Simulator may help greatly with getting more people from the Alien and Predator community more interested to get involved. But the odds are nobody wants to spend large amounts of money into an old card game, so a fully digitized representation would be the best possible alternative at this point. And a possible way for this community to play sometime whenever we have time.

Other than that, such a channel focusing on Aliens and Predator card games and board games would help significantly in generating some interest.

Lastly, I haven't had the opportunity to get any of the Legendary Encounters and VS System games yet. Although I do own AvP: The Hunt Begins 2nd Edition miniatures boardgame. I was just hoping more people would sign up here and start discussing about them, etc.
