hey folks, today i analyzed what i have been doing with my free time as of late, & it seems that i have killed off most of my other hobbies either from lack of disposable resources or a lack of my own continuing interest.
sold all my magic cards years ago, stopped writing for pen & paper games (after moving far away there seems little point in continuing), i dont watch TV, & now Battlegrounds CCG has become the go-to hobby i spend my free time on. its partly a matter of keeping occupied (i have been designing games most of my life, & its what i do to unwind & let my mind work out new challenges), & its also partly due to my amorous attachment to the battlegrounds system. while most people will be watching the walking dead or whatever else is hip these days, i will still be jamming that old industrial music & making the best looking cards that i can.
no matter how much work i put into my various sets/ projects, i find that there is always be more that could be done. even looking at my first project on the board (Zombies), there is still a lot i could do with it. IMO, within the BGCCG lies endless potential, endless.
regardless of what else may have been, to me the BGCCG was the best CCG system made & its too fun to let it die, so i am making this mission statement, mostly to say that even if the rest of the crew have abandoned ship, this here fool will stay behind to keep the engine running, & go down with this ship if indeed thats what is in the cards...
either way, i will still be around, ghost town or not, making my own additions to a game that never had its chance to shine... 'nuff said
