Indeed. Though if we do a tournament, it might be worth you coming?

Its impossible to ditch uni, its absolutely nothing like you see in movies, the lectures expect work like vampires expect blood, and we have the shortest deadlines for all projects, average is two weeks, we have a point system, if you fail to get 40 or more point they can kick you of the course #undecided#

Isn't the first year meant to be pretty easy though? Thats what I've heard form all the ex-students.

I went to one of the boring serious universities were its all work and very little play.
On my 1st day we were told that if we did this and that we would get kicked out, and we have to do this and that, it was really wrong to start the 1st day with a speech like that, another tutor actually said to use it was wrong of the other tutor to say all that on the 1st day.
After a year of going there I am not that fond of going back, I am on a games design course and the most work we have done is learning to write professionally, we rarely done anything to do with games, I'll probably come out of uni not with the knowledge of deigning games but to write books instead.

Sorry to hear that, I hope to study philosophy.

Well I went to Plymouth University and did Bilogical Science. Never used it since #rolleyes#
Did spend a lot of time playing CCG's and drinking though lol
Uni can be a lot of fun though, but the work can be pretty tough sometimes. THe second year generally gets a lot more interesting, the first is generally just to bring everybody up to the same level and give you all the background crap.
Good luck with it all Mr Weyland, hopefully your course might get a bit more interesting!

The Danbury area of Connecticut in the USA. As most people know, I really don't have the time to play anything, but if someone's ever in the area give me a hollar. I can free up time.
