As some of you may or may not know, we have an official ex-ZI Games member on here who was involved in making the AliensPredator CCG - Galmorzu - the guy who did the interview discussing Atmosphere and Cityscape and made a new official scenario; Fallout. Anyways, ask all the questions you want, right here, and he'll get back to you as soon as he can! If he isn't around to answer, and one of our experienced members can, generally they will.

Yep, I'll be around time permitting.
I wonder if any of the other guys from the old site will show up here?

Which old site, the old Access Space, or AvPWorld forums?
Anyways, my question is, are you still in contact with Harper, or whoever own the current rights for the CCG? Has anything changed since the interview you did about whether it could be resurrected or not?

Has anything changed since the interview you did about whether it could be resurrected or not? Howdy! Nope, no one is in contact with Harper anymore (in fact, we're not even in touch with each other anymore), and as I remember, nobody knows who bought the rights to the old Battleground system for CCG's. I certainly haven't seen it used in anything, so I think it's safe to say it's pretty much gone. If there ever were to be another AvP ccg, it most likely would have an all new set-up and rule set. I guess if someone were filthy rich, they could buy the rights back for the ccg Battleground System, and buy the rights to the Aliens and Predator (and AvP films), but it really would cost a fortune, and that doesn't even take into account find out who owns the CCG rights.

What have you been up to since the demise of AvPNews? Nothing terribly interesting. At least, nothing ccg related, anyway. Just working my job, staying close to friends and family. Occasionally trying to play some games in the roughly 2 hours a week I have for that nowadays. ;D But yeah, otherwise nothing really worth mentioning. It's cool seeing some old familiar faces around here, though.

Hey Galz. What's with the lack of set numbers or rarity identitifaction on the cards?

Hey Galz! Long time, no see! What do you do for a living these days? lol, well, way too much as you can all probably see. Currently I'm working in the Healthcare industry at FujiFilm Medical. I was at GE Healthcare before this. But that's all boring. Unfortunately, with the length of my commute every day preventing me from having more than a couple of hours to relax during the way each day, I don't have the time to hang out and play games like I used to. Heck, I love me some video games, but I only play, at the max, maybe 1/2 hour to an hour a week. I'm hoping to get my scuba diving certification this summer, though, so that's about the most interesting bit of info I can offer. Absolutely nothing going on with me related to the gaming industry, though. I'd love to start writing one of these days, now that I think about it. Heck, I have a major in English with a specialization in creative writing, so I should probably put that to work. If only I had the time! ;D

Hey Galz. What's with the lack of set numbers or rarity identitifaction on the cards? Well for the Premier set, the group that did that probably didn't even think of it. For Resurrection, I think they had talked about it, but just never got around to it. For Terminator, we REALLY wanted to do that, but the idea was nixed by the people in charge, wanting to keep the cards as "simple" as possible. It sure would have made things easier, eh? On the other hand, at the last minute, Precedence messed around with some of our rarity ratings and gave REALLY "crappy" cards (ones that should have been common) the "Rare" rating, so finding out that your Rare slot was taken up by such a basic card might have ticked even more players off. Eesh.

Hey, Galmorzu, was there any plan on how to handle city locations in the Cityscape set? Having outdoor locations that are both jungle and urban mixed together is a little weird.

Feel free to ask under one of the rules questions forums. Some of us know them pretty well.
