Barriers/Conditions FAQ Good to Go: Question: When taking advantage of Good to Go, where do I 'get' the extra items from to place on my characters? Answer: You may take them out of your Draw Deck, BUT since starting cards do not count towards or against deck requirements/restrictions, your deck must still meet all necessary qualifications (40-card minimum, for example) without those cards you pull out for Good to Go. You can also take cards from your Sidebar for Good To Go. 12/8/99 10:40:36 PM
Pressure Doors: Question: Do I have to place the Pressure Doors at a location next to where the character rotated? Answer: Yes. 6/29/99 11:26:21 AM
Characters FAQ General: Question: For example, Marines player has 2 characters, one is injured and its movement is reduced to 1 and a second marine which still has movement 4<for purposes of this example>. If during the Marine movement phase, the player taps his undamaged marine and spends one movement point, that marine card can pick up the damaged marine and carry/move him an additional 3 spaces along with the healthy marine card? So the effect of moving another character in a sense bypasses the normal movement restrictions of a damaged character card? Answer: The movement of the card being dragged does not matter at all. You do not 'pick them up', so the extra movement point must be paid for every room you move into. In most cases, this will leave a movement point cost of 2, 1 for the room and 1 for dragging a character. If the movement point cost for the room increases, so will the cost to drag the character through it. 1/8/98

Question: yes, there is the disadvantage of someone damaging my BC, but, hey, I'm mostly playing vs. Preds right now, so it's tough for him to do. Question: When determining a Queen's defense, do you count Alien Warriors before or after wounds? i.e., a Queen with four wounds and three Alien Warriors would be a defense 0? Defense 3? Answer: Add up the negatives and then add up the positives. 3/13/98 Question: Can a Warrior Queen ever revert back into a normal Alien Queen? Answer: No. 3/13/98

Combat FAQ General: Question: For example, Marines player has 2 characters, one is injured and its movement is reduced to 1 and a second marine which still has movement 4<for purposes of this example>. If during the Marine movement phase, the player taps his undamaged marine and spends one movement point, that marine card can "pick up" the damaged marine and carry/move him an "additional" 3 spaces along with the healthy marine card? So the effect of "moving another character" in a sense bypasses the normal movement restrictions of a damaged character card? Answer: The movement of the card being dragged does not matter at all. You do not 'pick them up', so the extra movement point must be paid for every room you move into. In most cases, this will leave a movement point cost of 2, 1 for the room and 1 for dragging a character. If the movement point cost for the room increases, so will the cost to drag the character through it. 1/8/98
Question: Example: If this Alien Warrior <4/5> with 3 Alien tokens on it, took 2 points of damage the Alien Warrior would have: +1 to hit ? +1 to Damage? Answer: No, this Alien Group would still be +3/+3 because currently the Alien tokens are preventing all the damage counters. 1/12/98
Question: How many hit points would this Alien have left if it took 2 points of damage? Answer: 5, plus it could still ignore 1 more point of damage. 1/12/98
Question: Example B: If this Alien Warrior <4/5> with 3 Alien tokens on it, took 6 points of damage the Alien Warrior would have: -3 to hit penalty? a -3 Speed Penalty? a -3 Power penalty? Answer: No, this group would be at +0/+0 and still a 1/2 Alien Group. 1/12/98
Question: How many hit points would this Alien have left if it took 6 points of damage? Answer: 2 1/12/98
Question: Typically an Alien taking 6 points of Damage is dead, but do these extra Alien tokens keep it alive? Answer: Yes. 1/12/98 Question: We' ve been saying that an Aliens player can take a -2 to hit penalty and attempt to capture a Main Character instead of killing it. I've not seen the taking a -2 to hit penalty rule anywhere either. Answer: Yes, this is legal. 1/12/98
Question: How long do the pluses to hit last for? Answer: Until the end of that specific round. 1/14/98
Question: Along the same lines, how long to pluses to resistance and defense last? Answer: The effects of all bonuses provided by event cards last until the end of the current round. 1/14/98
Question: Is it true that any number of cards can be played in sequence to increase either Speed or Power, but only one card can be played to increase a "to hit", or "resistance", or "damage dealing" at a time? Answer: Yes, see page 18 of the rule book. (err, you are correct). 1/14/98
Question: Could I play "Good Shot" <plus 1 to hit> and "If it bleeds" <+2 >damage and "Flesh Wound" <+1 resistance> all on Cpl. Ackels at the same time during the same round? Answer: Yes. 1/14/98
Question: If I have an alien group with 5 alien tokens on it, and this Alien card sustains 6 damage after resistance etc. We know that the Alien group is still alive since in this example 5 out of the 6 damage can not be used to kill the group. What is this damaged character + to hit now that it has sustained 6 damage and still has 5 tokens on it? Answer: An Alien Group with 5 Alien Tokens and 6 damage counters has a +4/+4 and is 3/4. 1/20/98
Question: Is all damage resolved simultaneously or do 3 marines shooting an alien each get better to-hits if the preceding marine hits? Answer: Simultaneous. 1/20/98
Question: If aliens automatically capture all 'killed' characters, why is there a card called "Capture" that seems to be totally redundant/useless? Answer: Capture is used for main characters. They automatically capture killed 'supporting' characters, not main characters. (they can attack main characters at -2 to hit; if they kill then they capture them). 1/27/98
Question: Can to hit bonuses and/or defense bonuses be played 'after' the die roll to hit? Answer: No. 4/26/98
Question: A Predator walks into a location with the Marines and plays an Overwatch and in response the Marines do the same. Does the p attack resolve before the Marines get to attack? Answer: Basically, players must wait for other players to respond after they make an action. If 2 actions appear to be simultaneous, then resolve in RMPA order. Predator moves. Marines could then play Overwatch, but they didn't. Predator plays Overwatch. Marines have opportunity to react. Marines react, and also play Overwatch. Predator may now react. Predator reacts, and USES the Overwatch, attacking a Marine. The attack is resolved. The Marines may now react. The Marines can react using the Overwatch, assuming that Marine is not yet dead. 4/26/98
Question: Are Predator short ranged attacks declared before marines ranged? Answer: No. ALL ranged attacks are declared in RMPA order. 04/26/98 4/26/98
Question: My Aliens Declared attacks on Predator in close combat and he had two Plasma Casters. If he wanted to play You Want Some of This when would he have to play the card? Answer: After Close Combats have been declared, but before Ranged attacks are resolved. 4/26/98
Question: Can you play 'plus to hit' cards on any attack? (i.e.: Face hugger Attack Event, Sentry Gun, etc.) Answer: On any appropriate attack. 4/26/98
Question: Let's say the Marines target and hit an Alien or S.C. 'and' during the same round the Predator targets and hits the same Alien or S.C. .... since all damage is done at the same time, who gets the Kill (and thus the honor) Answer: If a predator simultaneously kills something with someone else, he does NOT get the honor points. If anyone simultaneously kills a target attacked by the alien, the alien does not get to use the target to breed. 7/12/98
Question: Are hidden aliens still forced to declare attacks? Answer: No, they may or may not actually be there. 03/15/98 7/12/98
Question: I've got 2 aliens in a location with a pred hidden token. They both declare an attack. The first attack to be determined by the die roll comes out to be a hit, but Pred plays IJTC and therefore the 1st alien's attack did not actually hit. Then I roll the second attack and it is also a hit. Does the IJTC work for this second attack or does it actually hit? Answer: The second attack automatically misses no roll is made. Any attacks that were declared PRIOR to the Its Just the Cat 'do not hit the target.' 3/29/99

EVENTS CONTINUED
Question: When can you play Disengaging Attack? Just during regular combat, or during ANY attack? Answer: Since all attacks (even free ones) consist of a combat sequence, you can play this card during any attack, so long as it is before the die is rolled. 1/24/00 1:30:47 PM
Question: At what point does Disengaging Attack let you move? Answer: You get to move at the end of the combat sequence you played the card in. Dwindling Options: Question: Dwindling options.. When this card is played on your opponent, I assume that he/she is not allowed to quickly play all the cards in his/her right? So you play the card and spend the Combat pool and the player MUST discard that number of cards right? Answer: Events are resolved as played. Hence, as soon as the Dwindling Options is played, it must be resolved. (you are right, in other words!) 3/12/98
Question: If a Predator started playing events, let's say three events in a row. Could I as a marine stop him on his second card and play Dwindling options, since it goes in RMPA order. Answer: This is what the somewhat convoluted paragraph on p. 21 is meant to explain. Basically, a player can only play one event at a time. The Predator player must play one event, then wait for you to react. If you do not react, the Predator may play his second event without penalty. If you STILL don't react, he may play another, etc. If the Predator breaches etiquette by slapping down 3 cards at once, you may say, Nay, my overzealous Predator friend! and force him to take back the second 2 cards. You could then react to the first card, with the knowledge of what he has in his hand. Basically, if the Predator allows you to react in between, and you don't, then he is in the right. If he does NOT allow you to react, he is in the wrong. 3/19/98

Answer: It says: use combat pool to make a hit cause damage (ignoring armor and resistance) of: 1@ - 1 damage; 3@ - 2 damage; 6@ - 3 damage; or 10@ - 4 damage. So, if your opponent has a lot of resistance/armor and you have a not-terribly good weapon, if you hit, you can pay 10 pool, and ignore all the normal damage resolution method, and cause 4 net damage (which ignores armor and resistance). That tends to really mess up an opponent. 1/22/98

Question: How does IJTC work with "Ready For Trouble"? Answer: Well, it would go like this. Marines play Ready for Trouble on a hidden token. The Predator immediately plays 'Its Just the Cat' and all declared attacks also miss. In this case no attacks were declared before IJTC was played. 3/29/99
Question: With the same 2-alien scenario above, during the beginning of the combat phase before I declare attacks, I play RFT. Pred opponent plays IJTC, and declares that the "no attacks on it will hit" will work for any hits that occur this combat round. Answer: No, events are resolved as they are played. Thus IJTC would cause all previously declared attacks to miss. Since no attacks were declared in advance, the Predator player is in trouble and would require a second IJTC. 3/30/99
Juggernaut: Question: Regarding Juggernaut, is this a permanent card, or does it only last until the end of a round or turn? Answer: Only till end of round. 4/26/98
Question: I believe that Juggernaut would also add +1 if the player with the experimental rifle played it. My question is: Since the player with the experimental rifle is obviously going to target the Aliens in the Breeding Chamber, could the Aliens player play and use Juggernaut to modify the roll by -1? Answer: Yes, they could. 4/29/98
Keep 'em Down: Question: When do you play Keep 'em Down? Answer: After the first attack RESOLVES and it is determined that the target is still alive you immediately play and thus RESOLVE 'Keep em Down'. 6/29/99 11:24:47 AM
Question: If I damage the Queen, what happens first: a) Queen matures into a Warrior Queen or b) Keep 'em Down's free attack? Answer: Keep em Down occurs 'immediately' and thus it resolves BEFORE the Queen has a chance to mature into the Warrior Queen. 7/5/99 11:03:18 PM
Kill and Kill Again: Question: While I'm on the subject of 'Kill and Kill Again', can you switch targets with this after the first hit, or do you have to hit the same target twice? Answer: Yes, you can switch targets. 1/16/98
Last Stand: Question: If the Rogues have somehow managed to control a Marine Main Character, like Pvt Distephano.... can the Rogue Player use a 'Last Stand' on Pvt Distephano? Long Range Shot: Question: Can 2 Long Range Shots be played at a -4 to hit? Answer: Technically, this card lets you attack one location beyond your normal range, not 'an additional location'. This means that even if you played the card twice on yourself, you would still only get a one location increase in your range. 3/12/98
Question: If a Long Range shot is played then a Kill And Kill Again does the Long Range Shot still affect the attack? Answer: No. 3/12/98
Question: Say a Predator declares his attack at a High Cross-Location. He also uses Long Range Shot so he can shoot two locations away with the penalty. Can he target someone at a Low Cross Location? Answer: With a Long range Shot... yes. 3/29/99

Question: Question: Is it possible to cancel Malfunction without a Bad Call with a March of Time ? Answer: No. The most you can do, is reduce Malfunction to the minimum duration possible, which is 1 Round. 12/8/99 10:28:19 PM
Marines We're Leaving: Question: Marines, we're Leaving event card: Can this card be played before the Docking Bay location is put out and/or before the Marines player has rescued the required number of civvies? Answer: You must be able to make it to the Docking Bay (out and connected). You can play it before you have enough civvies, but it means you will automatically lose as soon as your guys bail ship (but you might get a moral victory). 1/12/98
Question: With Marines we are leaving , do you have to move to the Docking bay on the next movement phase? Answer: a) a Docking Bay needs to be already in play before you can legally play this event.b) you must make your way to the Docking Bay as soon as possible and then evacuate. 3/29/99

Can I play this event and rotate as many characters as I want (including supporting characters under my control...) to gain 1 Combat Pool for each? Question: Do you have to make an attack if you play On the Move? Answer: No. 4/26/98
Question: On The Move allows a Character to move at the end of Combat. Is the movement allowed by these cards: Modified by outnumbering enemy characters at the same location (i.e., -1 move per outnumbering character)? Answer: The card refers to moves or movement points, (On the Move), then you ARE subject to move restrictions. 4/26/98
Question: Can u play 2 on the moves to get -4 to hit and 6 movement? Answer: On the Move is an event card that applies a penalty to hit. The rules state that you can play and use any number of events that apply a negative to hit... but you can only -use- one event that applies a plus to hit. 3/29/99
On The Move: Question: When can you play On The Move? Just during regular combat, or during ANY attack? Answer: Since all attacks (even free ones) consist of a combat sequence, you can play this card during any attack, so long as it is before the die is rolled. 1/24/00 1:31:43 PM
Question: At what point does On The Move let you move? Answer: You get to move at the end of the combat sequence you played the card in. This would be right after damage has resolved for all the attacks (Ranged and Close Combat) that were declared at the beginning of that combat sequence. 1/24/00 1:35:12 PM
Oops: Question: I play Oops to roll two dice, then someone plays facing bad luck to make me reroll... do I reroll one? If so, do I pick or the person making me reroll? Answer: He picks which die he is targeting. 1/30/98
Overconfidence: Question: When playing the card that allows any 6 rolled to hit a predator (I think it's called Overconfidence), is that a global thing, or is it limited to your own characters, or to characters at a specific site? Question: If someone plays Overwatch during the movement round to get a free attack on my predator, am I allowed to play Dead End to stop him?? Answer: Yes, but Dead End MUST be played before the opponent declares the Overwatch attack - remember, the first event played is the first to take effect. If a conflict arises (like both announce their intentions at the same time), resolve in RMPA order. 3/12/98
Question: A Predator walks into a location with the Marines and plays an Overwatch and in response the Marines do the same. Does the Predator attack resolve before the Marines get to attack? Answer: Basically, players must wait for other players to respond after they make an action. If 2 actions appear to be simultaneous, then resolve in RMPA order. Predator moves. Marines could then play Overwatch, but they didn't. Predator plays Overwatch. Marines have opportunity to react. Marines react, and also play Overwatch. Predator may now react. Predator reacts, and USES the Overwatch, attacking a Marine. The attack is resolved. The Marines may now react. The Marines can react using the Overwatch, assuming that Marine is not yet dead. 4/26/98

Question: If the aliens player plays an Overwatch on a character (marine) who also plays an Overwatch, would the marine's attack go first, then if the alien's still alive, he would make his attack, due to the whole ranged combat resolution/ close combat resolution thing in combat round? Answer: Alien played first, so it is resolved first. Overwatch is an event, and so the usual combat timing rules do not apply. 4/29/98

Pour it On: Question: I fire at Aliens with a grenade launcher and use "pour it on". Is the attack considered to have missed (for purposes of pour it on) if I miss a single alien? (or only if I miss all) Answer: The attack is considered to miss... as soon as you miss your first Alien. (ie: a single Alien) 7/6/99 9:48:35 AM
Prepare Yourself: Question: If an opponent plays Dwindling Options on me and I still have Prepare Yourself in my hand and the combat pool to pay for it, can I play it right away or must I wait for the next draw phase? Answer: Yes, this is legal. This is one of the intentions of the card. 4/26/98

(it's not in my hand, discards or deck...) Can I choose duplicates of any locations I have in play? (thx Chris B..) Answer: You must have the card in your deck, and not in play. Question: Suppose the Predator's opponent wants to play Snapshot on him, is this allowed? the Predator's opponent probably wants him to have a -1 to hit. Answer: Yes. 3/19/98

Question: Regarding Sweep the Area, what if the location that comes up is already in play? Do you discard it and continue flipping till you get to the next one, or do you discard the location and your character stay unmoved? Answer: First of all, Duplicate locations are discarded OUT OF PLAY. That means they are removed from the game, so you don't keep redrawing them. Secondly, if you come to a duplicate location, we rule that, as with other Search actions, you have to stop at the first location you come to. If it isn't legal, discard it. If it's a duplicate, remove it from play as usual, and the character doesn't move. 3/19/98
Question: Must I rotate a character during the search phase to use Sweep the Area? Answer: Yes. 4/26/98

The Will to Live: Question: What happens if an Alien Warrior attacks Newt/Child in the kitchen and deals a whopping 8 damage to her, then a pesky fiancee opponent plays an Event card called The Will to Live which states that the recipient of this card retains 1 health point no matter how much damage it just sustained. So Newt never really died? So I gather that she would stay in the Kitchen location and not be on her way to the Breeding Chamber because she lived? Answer: Yes. Sounds like a good reason to break off the engagement to me. 1/9/98

Tight Formation: Question: Does the event card Tight/Loose Formation work on lone marines too? (thx Norman F.) Answer: ...you have to have at least 2 marines together to take advantage of formations... 1/20/98

Question: Can rotated Marines take advantage and use cards that will allow them free attacks, such as You Want some of this even though they were already rotated? Answer: Yes. But rotated weapons can not be used. 3/12/98
Question: I have a question regarding YWSOT. The card says, make one free attack against every character who has targeted you for close combat. Well, does mean the Predator itself or can the decoys be also considered you? Answer: It would work like this.... You may move a hidden marker (which is actually your Pred) into a location and the Aliens declare close combat attacks against. You would then immediately reveal your predator and play You Want Some Of This. You can only YWSoT on a non-hidden character. 3/31/99

Locations FAQ General: Question: For example: The Marines player plays a Hived Mess Hall location, then the Aliens player plays a "Mess Hall" location <not hived>...or reverse the order not hived location followed by a "hived" identical location. Answer: These are considered different locations. A location is considered identical only if it has an identical name. 1/12/98 Question: Can multiple characters search the same site to find multiple supporting characters and items/weapons at the same time? Answer: Yes. 1/27/98
Question: How many different locations are required to be in a deck? Answer: Only the starting locations and Operations. But you should refer to each specific scenario to be certain. 4/26/98
Question: If a location has had Hidey Hole played on it and Alien Queen Matures turning it into a Breeding Chamber does Hidey Hole remain on the new B.C. or is it discarded? Answer: Because the location is discarded, any events currently on that location would also be discarded.... then the new location is brought into play. 3/29/99
Question: If you hived, say Main Corridor or Would it retain the ability regarding Central locations?? Answer: The Hived locations gains the Hive resource and loses the ability to find further hostages there. Everything else stays the same. 3/30/99
Question: When the aliens replace a location with a new Breeding Chamber does the submerged recource carry over? Answer: No, the only resources that carry over are resources that identify a location's location. ie INDOOR, OUTDOOR, GROUND, HIGH, LOW 4/2/99
Question: What do you mean by three locations in a row are connected but if an Entry location is between them then the ends are not connected? Can the character not still move through the middle location? Answer: The term 'connected' is used to describe the path of destruction that a Self Destruct explosion would take indoors.... Entry locations break the line of Connectedness, picture each Entry location as having large Pressure Doors... 4/8/99
Access Space: Question: Can you play Access Space in a legal spot and then declare it adjacent to a predator Ship/Shuttle or a Breeding Chamber? Answer: No. 4/26/98
Question: When playing Access Space, must I declare a location already in play? Answer: Yes. 4/26/98
Question: Can Access space be declared adjacent to Breeding Chamber? Answer: No, Breeding Chamber clearly states that only HIVE locations may be adjacent to it. 3/29/99
Airlock: Question: On a related topic, we all assumed that the airlock door Location card closes after someone plays "Eat Vacuum" and the room becomes repressurized at the end of the turn. Is this correct? Answer: Yes. 1/12/98
Armory: Question: There are several cards like armory and weapons locker that let you rotate a character to search your deck and find an item card there. We were wondering if this only lets you get an item card from your deck or if you can actually put it on the character that rotated. If the latter, do you have to do it during the search round? Answer: The character who rotates searches during the search round and finds (and plays) the top appropriate card in your deck. 1/13/98
Breeding Chamber: Question: If during the Mature Aliens Phase, I have 4 Alien tokens in my Breeding chamber, Can I move some or all of these tokens to one or more Alien Character cards anywhere in play? Answer: You may only transfer to other cards (including the breeding chamber) in the same location. 1/7/98
Question: If a Marines or Predator player places a "Hived" location in front of them in their own HUD display, is that location considered part of the Alien player's HIVE? So can the Alien player transfer Aliens from the "Breeding Chamber" directly to this Marine/Predator player's "Hived" location? Answer: Yes. 1/9/98
Question: The Breeding Chamber says that you are required to treat each individual Alien token as an individual warrior card while in the Hive during the combat phase. So if the Predator enters the Breeding Chamber with the Queen and 1 Alien Warrior card with 5 tokens on it (+5 to hit >+5 to damage)... are you trying to say that the Alien Warrior group 'must' splinter down into individual attackers? Answer: No, you are misreading this. It means if there are 3 'Warrior Tokens' ON the chamber card and NO warrior cards, each token can attack as if it were a warrior card. The text refers to tokens on the Breeding Chamber card only. 1/20/98
Question: May an Alien use its ability to move from any Breeding Chamber to another Hived location if the location it is moving to is damaged? Answer: No. 4/14/99
Question: May an Alien use its ability to move form any Breeding Chamber to another Hived location if the Breeding Chamber is damaged? Answer: No. 4/14/99
Question: If the Breeding Chamber gets damaged what happens? Answer: Hive movement is cancelled and it gains the damaged resource. But you can still mature Chestbursters there. 6/14/99 11:03:33 AM
Hardpoint: Question: When using Hardpoint's ability to make a long range attack, does the location rotate? Answer: Yes. A Marine at this location may rotate it. The Marine doesn't rotate, the Hardpoint does. 4/26/98
Heat Exchanger: Question: When the Heat Exchanger explodes, do all locations explode in a line until the explosion reaches an ENTRY location? Answer: Yes. 3/12/98
Hived Cryonics: Question: If "Hived Cryonics" is one of your starting locations, can your opponents play with this specific location card in their decks in the Contact Scenario? (question reworded) Answer: Yes, but other Hived Cryonics are considered to be DISTINCT from the original starting locations. 1/19/98
Hived Kitchen: Question: Because all identical location take on the characteristics of their identical counterparts already in play, if the Predator player now played a "Kitchen" card, would it take on the hive resource, because the Marines original "Kitchen" card was just hived by the Aliens player during the Hive construction Phase? Answer: Yes. 1/20/98
Question: So, is the "Hived Kitchen" the same location as a newly hived "Kitchen" card? Answer: No, but any new Kitchens brought out are considered to have been hived by the Alien. 1/20/98
Machine Shop: Question: There is a location I think is called Machine shop.. the text on the side reads "machinist equipment" Can this be ransacked? Answer: Yes. Machinist Equipment is still Equipment! 3/12/98
Predator Shuttle: Question: Can your Predator stay in this location for multiple turns and thus use this location's special ability repeatedly over the course of several turns? Answer: Yes. 1/9/98
Question: The Predator Shuttle location states that a Predator can rotate it to search through the draw pile for the first Predator item. a) How is this accomplished? Do you flip the top card of the draw pile over until you hit the first Predator Item card? Answer: Yes. 1/9/98

Question: May the Hive alien faction use Waste Tank 5 as a starting location? Answer: Yes. 6/11/99 12:37:22 PM
Water Processing: Question: While the Predator is at "Water Processing" the Camouflage Suit is damaged. Is this damage permanent? Or only while the Predator is at the "Water Processing" location? (question reworded) Answer: The Suit is damaged only while the Predator is at the Water Processing location and therefore, the suit is totally 100% non-functional when present at this location. (answer reworded for clarity) 1/20/98

Human Restriction
In the premiere edition of Aliens Predator, several cards are printed with the "Marine" Restriction. Unfortunately, these cards were printed without consideration of additional Human factions.
To correct this, any Premiere Edition Event card with the "Marine" Restriction should be read as having the "Human" Restriction instead, usable by Marines , Rogues, and any Human faction created in the future. Note that this applies only to Premiere Edition cards; Event cards from Expansions are labeled correctly and do not need to be interpreted. Below is a list of the cards which are affected by this:
Baptism of Fire Breakthrough Bug Hunt Desperate Shot Dissection Eat Vacuum Emergency Escape Vessel Evacuation Field Promotion Marine Short Course Marines, We Are Leaving New Era in Science Rapid Fire Remote Sensors Saturation Fire Security Doors Self Destruct Sequence Success Breeds Success Take Him with You Air Control Fans"

a question, without an answer. If it gets an offical answer, which it won't. i'd add it. This is intended for official rulings, could make another thread for player rulings.
UP: Errata is changes made to cards that overrule what the cards themselves actually say, due to potential conflicts, or unclear wording. The thread title is actually slightly misleading, should be titled "Errata and Rulings" or something.
Most of this is from the FAQs on the official site, but not all. Theres a compiled list of errata i stole off ccg workshop, as well as the list of "human restriction" cards from there. I don't know how much, if not all, of that is redundant with the FAQs.

a question, without an answer. If it gets an offical answer, which it won't. i'd add it. This is intended for official rulings, could make another thread for player rulings. |

I think he might mean that since the cards' effects specifies "Marines", they can only be played with Marine characters. While the "Marine" in the resource/restriction box of, say, Marine Short Course, is changed into "Human", the "Marine" in the effect box remains untouched. So, Distephano, controlled by Rogues, can use these cards, but not the other Rogues.
