Talking with a friend got me to start making a Halo CCG with the AVP CCG rules. so, heres what i got:

Factions: UNSC, Covenant, Flood
Turn order is: UNSC->Covenant->Flood

Command. Each person starts with 30 Command. Main Characters all have a command cost. You start with Characters that total no more than your command. Whenever a character dies, you lose 1 Command. First person to reach 0 command loses. You also have a reinforcement deck.
During the upkeep phase (more on this in a second) you can play out new characters from the reinforcement deck, as long as you dont exceed your current command.

Phases:
1. Ready - Ready all Cards.
2. Evacuate - UNSC may evac from starting location.
3. Upkeep - All Duration triggers occur, then other upkeep triggers, then players may reinforce their squads. (Duration is how long temporary permanent events and objectives last)
4. Objective - Players may place objectives now.
5. Location - Players place the top location of their location decks into play.
6. Movement - Players move between locations.
7. Flood - Flood players do stuff (this phase is still not set in stone, im leaving the Flood for later, maybe in a 2nd set.)
8. Draw - Draw up to max hand size.
9. Combat - same as always.
0. Search - Same as Always.

Keywords:
Any Resources from AVP/Terminator that had rules text are now keywords.
Keywords so far:
Leader: +1 to hand size. Only 1 leader can be in your squad/reinforcements.
Swarm +X. This unit gets +X damage for each member of the same species at its location.
Flight - Same as avp/Terminator
Melee - Close Combat.
long-ranged - same as avp/term
Short-ranged - same.
Generic - May have multiple copies of this character.
Unique - May only have 1 copy of this card.

conditions
vehicles
events
objectives (just like my new avp set, these have a TASK to achieve for a REWARD, and a DURATION that sets how many upkeeps you have to fulfill this.

i will still work on the avp set i got in progress as well, just be working on 2 at the same time.
